On November 12, 2010 board member Dave Blount captured a picture of an endangered species, the bobcat, with a trail camera on the FLMR Cabin Run property adjacent to the Luke Chute Conservation Area. This is the 1st ever sighting of an endangered species on FLMR property since our organizations founding in 2003!

Want to get involved in your watershed? Join FLMR (in partnership with ORSANCO) to clean up a portion of the Muskingum River during River Sweep 2011! This year we will be focusing on the Devol Dam portion of the river on both the East and West sides of the Muskingum. Call 374-4170 to register. Participants will get a River Sweep 2011 T-shirt!!

Channel your inner Huckleberry Finn and start planning the construction of your raft for the 3rd Annual Mighty Muskingum River Raft Race! This year the race will be part of fun filled weekend in conjuction with the Rivers, Trails & Ales festival (Aug. 11th-14th) with the race being the final event of the weekend.
