Friends of Lower Muskingum River (FLMR) is a 501(c)3 organization originally incorporated in 2002. FLMR is a land trust protecting land within the Lower Muskingum Watershed through ownership of land or through conservation easements on private land, thereby protecting land into perpetuity. FLMR works to conserve lands within Washington, Morgan, and Noble Counties.
FLMR meets monthly from May through October for potluck dinners at the Luke Chute Conservation Area near the Luke Chute Lock and Dam. They are held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6 pm and are open to the public.
Meet the Team
The FLMR board is determined to serve causes that benefit the Muskingum river environment and its members. Feel free to reach out to any us!
Tiffany is the newly hired Executive Director of FLMR. She’s from Rockport, WV where she raised goats and made goat’s milk soap as an FFA member. Her appreciation for the environment started while working her farm and fishing and hunting with her family on the Elk River.
