Grisha Krivchenia is a composer and pianist who divides his time among Santa Fe, the Seattle area, and concert dates around the world. He enjoys a busy performance schedule, and his compositions are realized by professional ensembles throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Recent premieres have taken place in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Bucharest.
Grisha completed his studies at Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied piano with Sedmara Rutstein and composition with Jeffrey Mumford. In 2007, Grisha founded the music program at Spring Street International School in Friday Harbor. His solo piano and chamber music is published by Abundant Silence Publishing. and CCC Music Company.
Grisha takes a special interest in using art to amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. He writes music in collaboration with hospice patients and recently completed a song cycle based on interviews with Syrian refugees living in Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.

"The study shows that when land protection increased, employment increased over the next five-year period, even when controlling rigorously for other associated factors."

I am thrilled to announce that for a third consecutive year the Clif Bar Family Foundation has donated to FLMR. Without their support I would not be serving at Executive Director and we would be struggling to manage our properties and acquire new land. They support many grassroots environmental efforts. They have helped to save thousands of acres of land. If you know of other environmental small nonprofits, I would encourage them to apply. The next deadline is February 1st. Please like, share, and tell people about FLMR. We need to grow to conserve more land and care for the land we have already acquired. Become a member or a board member. We need fresh faces with new ideas for how to move forward. www.muskingumriver.org/membership/...

Look at this great time! All these people were learning about tapping Maple Syrup at our last Maple Syrup Workshop.
It was a snowy day and I picked up a kit for my best friend. Guess what? That kit is still in my trunk. Both of us are forgetful :).
